Spruce Point Inn started crafting oceanside memories made in Maine back in 1892 when the building that’s now the Main Inn was a private fishing camp. Over the decades, we have become a Maine family reunion location – a place where generations return to show their kids and grandkids the spot where they first learned to swim, or caught their first fish. When it comes to planning a family gathering Spruce Point Inn is the Maine family reunion ideal: plenty of amenities (and atmosphere!) that take advantage of our oceanside site – two outdoor pools, dock and moorings, tennis, bicycles and kayaks, a nature trail (complete with fairy houses) following an old Native American path – plus the modern luxuries of The Inn, our guest rooms and cottages, casual and fine dining, a full-service spa, on-site yoga and fitness center, jogging trail, gameroom and WiFi connection throughout (but you can pretend you didn’t read that, if you like!) Our Lighthouse Camp and Kids Night Out programs give “the grownups” a little time on their own, while the cousins and grandchildren build connections to last a lifetime.
Take our shuttle or water-borne launch to town or for a round of golf. Take a day-sail cruise right from our dock or a whale-watch trip. Or have our chef pack a picnic to the world-class Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens with its renowned Children’s Garden or the Boothbay Scenic Railway and Auto Museum (that brings out the little kid in every guest).
